On June 18, 2026, Dr. Suphakorn Tanwarawutthichai, a lecturer in the Master of Business Administration program in Esports and Entertainment Business Management, along with Mr. Adilak Sukamwang (Kru M) and Mr. Wittaya Saenganan (Coach Aun), students in the program, were honored to attend the opening ceremony of the 5th Hatyai Esports Championship 2026 (HATYAI ESPORTS Young Fest V 2026) at the Suwannawong Building Gymnasium, Jiranakorn Stadium, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province.  

This participation aligns with the initiative by the Hat Yai City Municipality, in collaboration with the Thailand Esports Federation (TESF), to organize this tournament. The event aims to promote the potential of youth and the general public in esports on an international level, as well as to drive the HAT YAI SPORTS CITY & TOURISM policy. The presence of the program's faculty and students at this event reflects their dedication to learning and building close connections within the national esports industry network.  

The program highly hopes that gaining outside-the-classroom experiences and participating in such a major city-level festival will greatly benefit the students' knowledge integration. This will prepare them to step up as vital personnel in the future development of the esports industry. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Hat Yai City Municipality for honoring the program's faculty and students with the invitation to be a part of this grand event.
