On July 25, 2026, Mr. Akkaranan Kankittinant, Deputy Minister of Education—and one of our proudest members as a Master's student in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Esports and Entertainment Business Management program at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University—honored the event by presiding over the opening ceremony of the Esports Competitor and Content Creator Workshop ‘NPRU E-Sport High School Cup 2026’ at Thepmongkolrangsee School, Kanchanaburi Province. ????

This event provided a platform for youths to showcase their potential as both esports athletes and content creators. It received overwhelming interest, with up to 33 student teams participating in the ROV tournament! ????

???? A major highlight of the event was when Mr. Akkaranan took on the role of a gamer, teaming up and playing ROV with the young participants in a very friendly atmosphere. This served as an open space to listen to their voices and truly understand the lifestyle of the new generation through real-life experiences. ⚔️

???? Mr. Akkaranan emphasized a compelling perspective: educational administrators must be the ones to adapt and approach the youth to bridge the generation gap. Playing games together is a crucial opportunity to open dialogue and listen directly to young people, which will ultimately lead to designing an educational system that meets the needs of the future.

"Our first goal is to push this as a prototype model for esports. Organizing it here in Kanchanaburi serves as a pilot before we expand our support for students and youths with esports potential nationwide," Mr. Akkaranan stated. ????

He noted that while the entire world currently places great importance on esports, it is unfortunate that Thailand still lacks sufficient budget support.
